Our history
We have been a
Orlando Track Shack series
The Track Shack Running Series began in 1978 and is considered the region's premier road race series! Together with our sponsors, Track Shack invites runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to participate.
Thanks to our partnership with Orlando Track Shack, we are provided discounts to register for their road races and events throughout the year.
National intercollegiate Running Club Association
The National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) is the governing body and central point of communication for the college running community. NIRCA coordinates many events, including a fall cross country season, Cross Country Championship Series, Road and Track Nationals, and all-club conferences.

Since 2021, our club has participated in NIRCA hosted events, including their Postseason Regional and National Championships. Being a member of the competitive team provides free registration and travel for runners who qualify for these races and other NIRCA affiliated events.
Local and regional Races
In addition to participating in the Orlando Track Shack Racing Series and the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association, Knight Runners compete in various local and regional races around UCF, Orlando, the Florida.
